Fraud Investigation: New Name Emerges in Expanding Profitosx24 Scam Network

The Profitosx24 fraud investigation has taken a new turn. WireNews has now confirmed the involvement of another individual, Stavros Georgiou, who operates a fraud using a UK mobile number (07350 029130) and is alleged to be directly involved in persuading victims to invest in the fraudulent Profitosx24 trading platform.

This latest information was provided to WireNews by a Greek national who came forward after reading our earlier reports — Forex Fraudsters Target Victims Across Europe – PayPal Turns a Blind Eye (4 September 2025), Profitosx24: New Evidence of an Elaborate Investment Scam Targeting UK Users (7 November 2025), and Global Forex Scam Expands: New Names Linked to Profitosx24 Fraud Network (10 November 2025).

According to the new testimony, the victim was initially approached through a targeted advertisement on Greek social media that promoted Profitosx24 as a legitimate investment opportunity. After a small initial deposit was made by credit card, Stavros Georgiou contacted the victim directly by phone from the UK mobile number shown above, offering “investment support” and presenting supposed profits. He then attempted to persuade the victim to make further deposits of several thousand euros.

When the victim declined and requested the return of their funds — including the minor profits displayed on the fabricated trading dashboard — communication ceased. Both Profitosx24 and Stavrou Georgios reportedly stopped responding to calls and emails. The funds were never returned.

The victim’s report aligns closely with the established pattern already documented by WireNews in connection with the Profitosx24 network:

  • Initial contact made via social media advertisements, often written in the local language.

  • A small “test investment” used to build confidence.

  • Fabricated profit reports displayed through the Profitosx24.io trading interface.

  • Persistent phone calls encouraging larger deposits.

  • Sudden termination of contact once victims request withdrawals.

WireNews has also established that these fraudsters are relying heavily on Revolut as a primary payment and collection mechanism. Victims are often encouraged to open a Revolut account “for faster international transactions” and then instructed to transfer funds directly to accounts allegedly linked to Profitosx24. Once the money is sent, victims are pressured to invest further through cryptocurrency exchanges, a step that effectively removes the possibility of reversing the transaction. This pattern of routing deposits through Revolut and then into cryptocurrency wallets has been repeated across multiple countries and cases, making it difficult for victims to recover their funds once the fraud is uncovered.

This latest development brings the total number of individuals publicly linked to the Profitosx24 scam to seven, including Nikolaos Stergiou, Christos Psimolotis, Dimitrios Stergiou, Dimitrios Georgiadis, Loukas Lamprinos, Efthalia Valila, and now Stavros Georgiou.

WireNews has verified that Profitosx24 continues to list a London address (2nd Floor, Waverley House, 7–12 Noel Street, W1F 8GQ) and to operate under the false impression of UK registration, despite no such company existing on record at Companies House. The building is managed by CBRE (UK) Limited, a global real estate firm that has been contacted for comment regarding the unauthorised use of its premises.

WireNews continues to cooperate with international authorities, including the Metropolitan Police (Action Fraud) in the United Kingdom, and encourages any individuals who have been contacted by Stavros Georgiou or any other person representing Profitosx24 to preserve all communications, screenshots, and payment records.

Victims should immediately report such incidents to Action Fraud (Metropolitan Police) online or by calling 0300 123 2040, and may also contact WireNews Limited with verified evidence to assist the ongoing investigation.

WireNews will continue to follow the expanding network of fraud connected to Profitosx24 and will publish further verified updates as they emerge.
