WireNews has uncovered new evidence linking additional individuals to the ongoing Profitosx24 investment scam that has already defrauded victims across Europe of thousands of pounds. This latest revelation follows our previous investigations — “Forex Fraudsters Target Victims Across Europe – PayPal Turns a Blind Eye” (4 September 2025) and “Profitosx24: New Evidence of an Elaborate Investment Scam Targeting UK Users” (7 November 2025) — which first exposed the fraudulent operation masquerading as a legitimate London-based investment company.
Since those reports, four more individuals have been identified as participants in the scheme. They are Dimitrios Stergiou (believed to be related to Nikolaos Stergiou), Dimitrios Georgiadis, Loukas Lamprinos, and Efthalia Valila. Each has either received thousands of pounds — in both euros and sterling — directly from victims or sent smaller sums to victims as “returns” or “bonuses,” designed to build trust and entice further deposits. Once the larger transfers were made, the funds quickly vanished.
The fraud now extends beyond London, Profitosx24, and the UK-based financial platform Revolut. Victims were encouraged to open cryptocurrency accounts with OpenPayd Financial Services Malta Ltd., a company operating out of Malta, through which significant amounts of money were then funnelled to the core organisers of the scam. What initially appeared as isolated losses within a deceptive trading platform has now been revealed as a sophisticated international network involving multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
At least six identities are now connected to this fraud: Nikolaos Stergiou, Christos Psimolotis, Dimitrios Stergiou, Dimitrios Georgiadis, Loukas Lamprinos, and Efthalia Valila. It remains unclear whether these are the individuals’ real names or aliases used to conceal their true identities. However, their operations continue to rely on a London business address to maintain an appearance of legitimacy.
That address — 2nd Floor, Waverley House, 7–12 Noel Street, London, W1F 8GQ — is managed by CBRE, a global real estate firm. WireNews previously confirmed that no company named Profitosx24 is registered in the United Kingdom, yet the fraudsters continue to use this virtual office to give credibility to their scheme. CBRE’s UK operations, led by Richard Smart (contact: Richard.Smart@cbre.com), may hold key information regarding the fraudsters’ identities. If any of these individuals are operating under legitimate rental or virtual office agreements, CBRE would have their Know Your Client (KYC) records on file. If they are using the address without permission, CBRE should refer the matter to the Metropolitan Police for criminal investigation.

This widening web of deception underscores the scale and complexity of the ongoing fraud. Victims across Europe — from the UK to Malta and beyond — have been manipulated through false trading platforms, fraudulent profit dashboards, and illegal transfers via Revolut and cryptocurrency exchanges. The scam’s evolution demonstrates not only a coordinated criminal effort but also a deep understanding of how to exploit regulatory and jurisdictional gaps within the financial system.
WireNews urges anyone who has had dealings with any of the named individuals — Nikolaos Stergiou, Christos Psimolotis, Dimitrios Stergiou, Dimitrios Georgiadis, Loukas Lamprinos, or Efthalia Valila — or who has been asked to transfer money through Revolut, PayPal, OpenPayd Financial Services Malta Ltd (sometimes referred to as Central Finance Limited), or any cryptocurrency platform connected to Profitosx24, to immediately report the matter to Action Fraud (Metropolitan Police) online or by calling 0300 123 2040.
WireNews continues to investigate this evolving case and will provide verified updates as more information becomes available.
