After joint efforts of the Indian Army and concerned government agencies, the Chinese PLA handed over Miram Taron, the missing teenager from Arunachal Pradesh, handed over on the Peoples Liberation Army of China on 27th January 2022 at Border Personal Meeting Point Damai, across Anjaw District of Arunachal Pradesh.
The 17-year-old teenager from the Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh had inadvertently strayed and went missing while hunting on 18th January.
Indian Army immediately approached PLA officials on the hotline and shared identity details of teenagers for tracing and safely returning.
