Updated: Feb 26

WireNews offers registered journalists an internationally recognised press card for just £95 per year

WireNews, founded in April 2001, offers registered journalists the opportunity to obtain an internationally recognised Press Card/Credential.

WireNews charges just £95 per year for its press card, far less than Union dues or most of the plastic cards available on the Internet. We also offer a 5-year and a Lifetime membership for registered journalists.

A superb alternative to union dues, WireNews affiliation can open doors, assist with admission to certain venues, and even protect your equipment from seizure.

The first step is to register with WireNews. After registration, navigate to your Profile page and select the Get Press Card link.

A key feature of the programme is the inclusion of electronic letters confirming accreditation, available at no additional cost. These letters can be sent directly to venues or organisations requiring confirmation, making it easier for members to access events and opportunities worldwide.
