FSSAI Releases Definitive List Of Ayurveda Ahara Products under Category A

The Food Safety and Standard Authority of India (FSSAI), in consultation with the Ministry of Ayush released a definitive list of Ayurveda food preparations under the category of Ayurveda Aahara-A.

These regulations recognise foods based on recipes, ingredients and processed from authoritative Ayurveda texts, and the new list brings unprecedented clarity and confidence to consumers and businesses alike.

Category A of Ayurveda Ahara Products are formulated as per classical Ayurveda texts listed in Schedule A. According to Union Minister Pratap Rao Jadhav, adopting Ayurveda Aahara is a meaningful step towards preventive healthcare and a balanced, sustainable way of living.
