In the near future, Delhi, India’s vibrant capital, is on the verge of a remarkable transformation into a premier global hub for entertainment and media. With its rich cultural heritage and innovative spirit, the city is poised to attract a wide range of talent and significant investments from across the globe. This evolution will not only enhance Delhi’s international standing but also create a thriving environment where creativity and innovation can flourish, establishing it as a shining beacon for aspiring creators and industry leaders alike.
A ground-breaking memorandum of understanding was signed yesterday between the Delhi Tourism Development Corporation and Prasar Bharati at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi during the International Film Festival. This visionary initiative is set to position the National Capital Region of Delhi as a leading global center for entertainment and media, cultivating a cutting-edge ecosystem that brings together crucial sectors like film, television, animation, visual effects, and comics.
As emphasized by Rekha Gupta, the Chief Minister of Delhi, this project aligns seamlessly with the "Make in India" vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking a significant leap towards establishing Delhi as a world-class center for entertainment and media. The government is fully dedicated to transforming Delhi into the ultimate destination for global stakeholders and creative alike.
